    Create a daily safety risk assessment overview with an aim to help crew managers make safer work organisation decisions.     The report provided a quick and clear daily risk profile that significantly enhanced the understanding of safety vulnerabilities. It improved safety protocols, targeted training programs, and a proactive approach to managing worker fatigue and other risk factors.     The project involved understanding key criteria and factors, exploring and defining user needs, and creating a brief, visually easy-to-scan report that incorporates all critical information while allowing for deeper data exploration.     Leveraging my managerial experience, I quickly grasped the daily challenges and needs of the crew managers. I identified the key factors to serve as a foundation, ensuring the tool's effectiveness in supporting their decision-making for enhanced safety and improved well-being of the personnel.

    In my role as a regional general manager I knew the importance of following up on key metrics and showing them in the relevant context for every role - from top executives to each team member to ensure the organisation is working in sync towards one set of goals. It was especially important due to the fact that subsidiaries were operationally interdependent. Thus, the reports were designed with visual and contextual clarity to show the link among different factors impacting the outcomes.

Web strategy consulting for a news media launch

As a consultant to the startup team of a new political news portal IR I advised on a digital content strategy, including designing engaging page layouts, proposing optimal publication timing, and user engagement strategies. I also advised on effective advertising and subscription models, positioning the portal for early success in the competitive market.

Streaming platform start-up and product management

Just before YouTube revolutionised streaming media I was hired by an IT company to lead a start-up of a streaming platform and developed it into a popular destination in the 3 Baltic countries with a smart editorial strategy and strong content and technology partnerships. 

Content development of a news portal

As the 2nd employee of the DELFI team in Latvia, I assumed leadership in developing content strategies and establishing partnerships to build a strong user base. We achieved stunning success in the number of users, earning the title of the most successful news portal in the Baltic states, which still holds.
